08 | The curse of dimensionality

Objective(s)

1. Read the following article:

   Altman, N. & Krzywinski, M. (2018). The curse(s) of dimensionality. Nature Methods, 15, 399–400. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41592-018-0019-x

2. Produce a single figure (in .png or .pdf format) that explores the curse of dimensionality (e.g., showing us how distances between random points converge as dimensions increases).

   Your figure must include a caption that explains what is being shown and what the reader should take away.

3. Submit your figure and any associated code (e.g., a .ipynb) to the course repository.
